In the Wake of the Storm-The Role of the Professional Engineer

Presented by Mark Kriss, Esq.
NYSSPE Legal Counsel

The aftermath of natural disasters can be devastating. Once the first responders get the community past the crisis stage, a long-term effort emerges undefinedassessment and analysis of damaged infrastructure, and rebuilding. This is where Professional Engineers are most needed.   Mr. Kriss will be speaking about the protections afforded under the federal Good Samaritan law, together with a brief overview of pending NYS legislative proposals.
